Frequently asked

What people always ask us.

The real questions we get on WhatsApp and on the phone — answered in detail.

Pricing

How much does a full wrap cost?

It depends on the size of the vehicle, the surface to cover and the material chosen. A partial wrap starts lower than a full one, and a trailer or food truck costs more than a van. Send us photos of the vehicle and we will send a written estimate in less than 24 hours — no commitment.

Logistics

How long does the full process take?

From estimate approval and 50% deposit, production takes 3 to 5 business days. If you also need graphic design, add 2 to 4 days for artwork and approvals. The final install takes between 1 and 3 days depending on the size of the vehicle.

General

What warranty do the wraps have?

We work only with certified 3M and Avery Dennison vinyl — the gold standard for vehicle wrapping. Materials have a manufacturer warranty of 5 to 7 years against fading, lifting and cracking under normal use. Mac Gyver guarantees installation workmanship for half of the manufacturer period. The warranty does not cover damage from accidents, abrasive washes or intentional chemical exposure.

Color change

Can I change my car color without painting it?

Yes. The change of color consists of covering the entire vehicle with solid, satin, matte or chrome colored vinyl. It is 100% reversible — when you want to remove it, the vinyl peels off without damaging the original paint. It is an ideal option if you lease the car, want to try a color without commitment, or want to protect the factory paint.

Logistics

Do you work all over Florida?

We're based in Orlando (788 Montgomery Ave) and work all over Central Florida — Tampa, Kissimmee, Lakeland, Daytona, Winter Park and the entire I-4 corridor. For large commercial vehicles (food trucks, trailers) we can come to your location; for personal cars we prefer you bring them to the shop so we can work in a controlled environment.

General

What do you need to start the design?

Ideally: (1) your logo in vector format (.ai, .eps, .svg or editable .pdf), (2) brand colors (Pantone or HEX codes), (3) visual references of the style you like, (4) the texts you want to include (contact info, slogan, services). If you do not have a vector logo, we can trace it from a good image — no extra charge for full projects.

Wraps

How do I care for my vehicle after installation?

For the first 48 hours avoid washing the vehicle or exposing it to heavy rain — the adhesive is curing. After that, you can wash it by hand with neutral soap and a soft sponge. Avoid automated brush car washes and wax-based products or strong solvents. If you pressure wash, keep the nozzle more than 12 inches away and never point directly at the edges of the vinyl.

PPF

What is PPF and what is it for?

PPF (Paint Protection Film) is a transparent self-healing film applied over the vehicle's original paint. It protects against stone chips, road debris, swirl marks from washing, and minor damage. It is ideal for premium cars, high-mileage vehicles and high-impact areas (hood, front bumper, mirrors). PPF is transparent — it preserves the original color — but it also exists in a matte variant to change the finish.

Logistics

Are you open on weekends?

We are open Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM. We are closed on Sundays. For urgent appointments or clients who cannot come during business hours, we can arrange something special — message us on WhatsApp.

Wraps

Do you wrap fleets?

Yes. Our specialty. We work with fleets of vans, pickups, food trucks and trailers — from 2 to 50+ vehicles. For fleets we offer volume discounts, schedule installations to minimize business downtime, and keep design files on hand to reproduce them exactly when you add new vehicles.

Pricing

Do I need a deposit to start?

Yes. We require a 50% deposit to start production (materials purchase + shop reservation). The remaining 50% is paid when you pick up the finished vehicle. We accept cash, wire transfer, Zelle, credit card and business check.

Wraps

Can you remove an old wrap?

Yes. We remove old wraps without damaging the original paint — as long as the original vinyl is of quality and has not been beyond the manufacturer's warranty period (typically 5-7 years). If the vinyl is very degraded by the sun, removal is more labor-intensive and the cost goes up. We give you an estimate after reviewing the vehicle.
